Privacy Policy

Last updated

The 2nd International AASMG and TMGGA Joint Conference 2026 is committed to protecting your privacy, in compliance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to this conference website only. Registration, payment and abstract submission are handled through separate systems arranged by the conference secretariat. Those services collect information directly from you and publish their own terms at the point of collection.

2. Information we collect

This website has no contact form, no account sign-up and no payment processing. It does not ask you for your name, email address, telephone number or any other detail that identifies you.

When a page is opened, our server adds one to a visitor counter: a running total and a total for the current day. These figures are aggregate numbers and contain nothing that could identify a visitor.

To stop a single source inflating that counter, your IP address is read in memory and immediately converted to a one-way hash using a key that is regenerated every time the server restarts. The hash is discarded after one second. Neither your IP address nor the hash is written to disk, logged, or shared with anyone.

3. Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no cookies. It uses no advertising, analytics, or visitor-tracking services of any kind.

A small number of settings are stored by your own browser so that the site remembers how you left it. None of them is transmitted to us, and none of them identifies you:

Appearance
Whether you chose the light or dark theme. Held in local storage until you clear your browser data.
Cookie notice
Whether you have dismissed the notice about cookies that appears on your first visit. Held in local storage, and reset if that notice is ever materially changed.
Demonstration notice
Whether you have closed the notice explaining that this is a demonstration site. Held in session storage and cleared when you close the tab.

You may clear any of these values at any time through your browser settings. Nothing on this site stops working if you do — the notices simply appear again.

4. Links to other websites

Several pages link to services operated by others — hotels and booking platforms on the Accommodation page, and the abstract submission form. Once you follow such a link you are on their website, and their privacy policy governs what they collect. We have no control over, and no access to, information you provide to them.

5. How long information is kept

Daily visit totals are kept for approximately thirteen months and are then removed automatically. Nothing else is retained by this website.

6. Your rights under the PDPA

Where an organisation holds your personal data, the PDPA gives you the right to:

  • Access your personal data and request a copy of it
  • Have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed
  • Request erasure of your data when it is no longer needed
  • Object to, or request restriction of, its processing
  • Withdraw consent you have given
  • Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee

Because this website does not collect information that identifies you, we will in most cases hold no personal data to act on. Requests concerning registration, payment or abstract submission may be sent to the address below and will be passed to the service responsible.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site develops — in particular if online registration is added. The date shown at the top of this page is the date of the most recent change.
